Elizabeth Keenan (1836, Lower Killeavy, County Armagh, Ireland – 1905, Richmond, VA) and her husband, James Morrissey (1832, Abbeyleix, County Laois, Ireland – 1890, Richmond, VA) (c. 1885, Richmond, VA).


Ambrose Augustin Aloysius Morrissey, Senior! (1875-1949, all in Richmond, VA), son of James Morrissey and Elizabeth Keenan, my grandfather. Probably a wedding portrait.


My grand aunt, Sister Mary Ellen (Mamie) Morrissey (1861, Richmond, VA – 1905, Montgomery County, AL); couldn’t resist the hat of her nun’s habit! Daughter of James and Elizabeth.
